This week’s work has been about the moments around a battle: preparing an operation, refreshing the world as it changes, and making it easier to follow the game’s progress. Here is what has changed in the development build and on the website.
Loading screens with a little more depth
Four illustrated loading scenes now cover early jets, propeller fighters, coastal heavy armour and desert medium armour. Their layers move gently with the pointer, while the loading status stays in place and remains readable.
Reduced-motion settings stop the movement and center the composition. These are loading illustrations based on the game’s vehicles and landscapes; they do not represent new unit types or gameplay footage.

Working on battlefield hitches
We have also been investigating pauses when the battlefield scenery updates, including changes around destroyed buildings. The latest work narrows those refreshes to the affected scenery and updates terrain-edge geometry in smaller pieces.
Targeted tests showed improvements to some of these pauses while keeping the same visual detail and gameplay rules. Hitches still remain, and results vary with the battle and hardware. This is progress on a specific problem, not a claim that performance work is finished.
A home for the next dispatch
The website now has this News & Devlog section for development updates and official announcements. The Game Wiki remains the place to explore units, factions, research and the rules behind an operation.
You can also join the separate email list for launch news and occasional development updates. It uses email confirmation and includes an unsubscribe option. Joining that list is optional and is separate from a Steam wishlist.
Release news
Stripes of Glory remains in active development. A public release date, price and Steam store page have not been announced here. We will share official release news in this section when those details are confirmed.
