Your choice
Optional Google Analytics is off until you choose “Accept analytics”. Rejecting analytics does not limit the website. Your preference is stored in your browser for up to 180 days. You can withdraw consent or change your choice at any time using . Withdrawing consent stops future collection and clears this site's Google Analytics cookies; it does not automatically erase previously collected data.
What we measure
After consent, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visitor and session counts, visited pages and wiki articles, traffic sources, campaign links, approximate geographic areas, device/browser types and engagement. We measure actions such as trailer starts, playback milestones and completion, access-details views, outbound links and contact-link clicks and accepted newsletter signup requests (without email addresses). Download-link clicks will be measured when downloadable files are available; a click does not prove a completed download.
The legal basis for optional analytics is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Providing analytics data is voluntary and is not required by law or contract. We do not use this website measurement to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, contact-message contents or wiki search text to Analytics. Our measurement code excludes arbitrary URL query parameters and only includes restricted campaign labels. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising personalization or session recordings.
Cookies and providers
Google Analytics uses first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_… to distinguish browsers and sessions after consent. We configure a 180-day cookie lifetime. Google receives technical request information when its tag runs and processes analytics data on our behalf; processing may take place outside your country. See Google's privacy policy and Google Analytics data safeguards. User- and event-level data are configured for two months of retention without resetting the period for new activity; aggregated reports may be retained longer. Detailed city and device-model collection is disabled.
Hostinger serves the site and may process technical request and security logs to deliver and protect it. Those hosting operations are separate from optional Google Analytics. See Hostinger's privacy policy.
Necessary delivery and security processing relies on our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). It may involve IP addresses, request times, requested resources and browser information. Technical records are kept for the period needed to deliver the hosting service, diagnose errors, investigate security incidents and meet applicable legal duties, under the provider's Data Processing Addendum and privacy policy. Provider-managed retention depends on the record type; contact us for the details relevant to your request. We do not create a separate visitor-log database or use hosting logs to override a rejection of optional analytics.
International processing
Google may process analytics data in the United States and other countries. Its processing terms describe the applicable safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, an adequacy framework. You can review or obtain the relevant terms through Google's Data Processing Terms and its international data transfer information, or contact us. Consent to analytics is not a waiver of your GDPR rights.
Launch updates by email
If you are 16 or older, you may separately opt in to Stripes of Glory launch news and occasional development updates. Newsletter signup does not require accepting Analytics. We collect your email address, the consent wording/version and request/confirmation times. We send a confirmation link that expires after 48 hours; opening it does not subscribe you until you press Confirm signup. Only confirmed addresses receive newsletters.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Signup is optional and has no effect on access to the site or game. We use Hostinger's hosting and outgoing mail services to store the list and send messages from info@stripesofglory.com; your mail provider also processes messages to deliver them. We do not sell the list or add your address to Analytics, advertising audiences or other mailing lists. We do not use email opening pixels or individual newsletter click tracking.
Unconfirmed signups are deleted within 7 days. Confirmed subscriptions are retained for up to 24 months from confirmation, or until you unsubscribe sooner. Every newsletter includes a free unsubscribe link, with no login required. On unsubscribe, your address is removed from the active list. A keyed hash of the address and minimal consent/withdrawal records may be kept for up to 3 years to honor opt-outs and demonstrate consent (our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and consent accountability obligations). Abuse-control records use a daily keyed hash of the request IP address and are deleted within 48 hours. Daily maintenance enforces these limits. We do not retain the raw IP address in the mailing-list database; hosting and mail logs have their provider-managed retention.
You can also withdraw consent or request deletion by emailing info@pifra.tech. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Email messages and provider backups may remain subject to their normal retention and applicable legal duties. If you are under 16, please do not use the signup form.
Google Search and external links
Google Search Console gives us aggregate reports about search impressions, clicks, queries and indexing. It does not add a visitor-tracking script to this site. Links to other websites are governed by those sites' privacy practices. The current official trailer is hosted on this website and loads when you play it.
Internal visit exclusion
Owner sign-in sets a first-party sog_internal preference for up to 180 days to keep that browser out of visitor analytics. A test-browser exclusion link may store the same preference locally under sog-internal-traffic-v1. These flags contain no identity, grant no account access and are not sent to Google. Analytics stays off on excluded browsers. Clearing site storage removes these preferences.
Private owner dashboard
The private owner workspace uses a necessary, session-only cookie named __Secure-sog-owner to protect sign-in and subscriber access. Access is limited to Pifra’s designated owner mailbox. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes; signed-in access expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or 8 hours. Codes are stored as keyed hashes. Daily maintenance removes expired code and sign-in abuse-control records within 48 hours and expired server session files within two days. Abuse controls use a daily keyed IP hash, not a separate raw-IP database. The workspace has no Analytics tag. It displays existing aggregate Analytics reports and the private subscriber register to the owner; subscriber addresses are never sent to Google Analytics. Owner downloads must be kept private and deleted when no longer needed.
Questions and privacy requests
Depending on the processing and applicable conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Contact info@pifra.tech to exercise these rights. We may need enough information to identify relevant records; we do not have a list of named visitors. We respond within the time limits required by GDPR, normally one month.
You may complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency, AZOP, or the supervisory authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred. You may also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or your browser's cookie controls.
